Our journey began in 2012 with Cristian, a Colombian entrepreneur who, after years of working in American industries, recognized the need to forge a connection between his homeland and his new residence. Initially, Cristian started selling small bags of coffee online, and even though the business appeared profitable, the idea of establishing a brand that supported farmers and provided new community experiences lingered in his mind.

In 2014, Cristian transitioned from selling coffee bags for Colombian brands to founding Andina Distributors. Andina became the ideal platform to gain firsthand knowledge of coffee cultivation, harvesting, roasting, and processing.

With the assistance of his allies, family, and friends, Cristian expanded his efforts beyond distributing and selling green beans across various areas of the country (USA). He also seized the opportunity to contribute to numerous farming families' economic growth and education.

Building on the experience acquired from direct involvement in the coffee industry, Cristian bought his first roasting machine, and from that point onward, everything became history. In 2018, he established his first store with a Saxonville Mills brand, and in 2023, he inaugurated his second store, named after the region of his birth.

Saxonville Mills and Andina Cafe are the outcomes of the collective efforts of everyone who joined us in this journey, each contributing to creating an honest, sustainable space teeming with experiences and great stories to tell.
